Following on from the hugely successful NACFB Commercial Finance Expo 2017, the media team at have created a promotional video of the conference, held at Birmingham's NEC.

Bridging Directory exhibited on the day with executives Ryan Ewen, Alex Ewen and Ian Bennett on hand to explain exactly how the fully managed broker service helps with quick decisions, whole of market comparisons and super-fast completions.

Covering the event on social media with real-time Twitter interviews, created through an experienced in-house camera crew and an ex-Fleet Street journalist, proved hugely popular with the great and the good from the world of commercial finance.

Ryan Ewen explained: "All of the serious players in commercial finance were under one roof and we wanted to capture that on film and live on the day using social media. It was a huge success, something we will do again, with the one or two refinements."

“Nothing like this has been done before and it will be a great insight for first time exhibitors and attendee’s to get feel for the buzz and energy of the day.”

This year’s expo featured a new style of conference with panels tackling a range of topics most important to commercial finance brokers. These included the changing face of buy-to-let in which the NACFB looked at how tax changes will impact landlords and how those changes will reshape the lending landscape.

Other subjects discussed and debated were Brexit and the prospects for UK growth, inflation and interest rates over the next two years. And a panel debated looking at what is so special about specialist lending featuring representatives from NatWest and Investec taking on their counterparts at Funding Circle, Amicus and Nucleus.
