An early-bird breakfast club created by Century Capital has been hailed as a huge success with the gathering of property professionals showering the event with huge praise.

The launch this week -- an event which has been dubbed "Brexfast" -- was pitched as a chance for attendees to meet locally, exchange ideas and improve their knowledge on how Century Capital works.

Century Capital has a reputation as a fast, flexible and reliable bridging lender based in the heart of Mayfair. Since its inception in 2012, they have adopted a streamlined approach to lending, building bridging loans around the specific needs of the end client.

"Our streamlined approach means we get the job done faster than our competitors. Our key decision makers are involved from the outset and are available to assist in progressing applications quickly. This mean giving a lending decision within hours, even when it comes to complex structures and borrowers. Our lack of hierarchy and bureaucracy allows Century Capital to offer fast-track completions in four to five business days."

Paul Munford, CEO of Century Capital, said: "This marked the first in a series of social events planned for 2019. It was a great chance to catch up with, and show appreciation for our established brokers and clients, build new connections, and share ideas. Thank you to everyone who came!"

Holly O’Brien, Marketing Manager at Century Capital, said: "Century has decided to put together a series of breakfast events for the early risers of Mayfair. We enjoyed great success networking at MIPIM last month and wanted to continue that success back here in London.

"Our breakfast launch was a huge success, with a full house at the Arts Club, great food, great people, good conversations -- a positive start to the morning.”

The Brexfast agenda began with Holly O'Brien meeting and greeting guests with a few words of welcome before breakfast was served. Guest speaker - author John Howard – then took to the stage, delivered his speech on Brexit highlights, followed by a Q & A. Howard is especially well known for his book, Inside Guide to Property Development and Investment for Newcomers, and his engaging speech went down well with those in attendance. Paul Faithful from Charles Cameron described the speaker as "very entertaining", with David Carr of BDB Pitmans describing him as “delightfully controversial”.

The event took place at the prestigious Arts Club on Dover Street, Mayfair, and the venue provided fantastic surroundings to add to the conviviality. The club was founded in 1863 by Charles Dickens in order to provide a haven for people with professional or amateur relationships with the arts, literature or sciences. "The club has provided this hospitality and friendship ever since, having survived two world wars, as well as political and economic anomalies over the years," says a spokesman.

The two-hour meeting was a roaring success and satisfied the objectives set by Century Capital with ‘the amazing turnout being a testament to the strong and loyal relationships that Century have built over the last few years.’

Century are looking forward to regular breakfast meet-ups over the course of the next year with the aims being to exchange ideas and improve people’s knowledge on what they do, along with topical insights from a variety of guest speakers.
