Commercial Director Ryan Ewen has spoken of his "pride and enthusiasm" after launching a business that has embraced the very latest technology in an exciting bid to help unify the bridging finance market.

Ryan has lifted the lid on the fulfilment of a two-year project to shape and mould bridgingdirectory.com into bridging.com with the ethos "when bridging finance meets Fintech" at its very core.

The new website boasts a shorter, premium domain name that will allow the business to work closer with lenders and select broker partners.

Ryan is the Commercial Director of Falbros and works alongside his brother, Alex Ewen, who is Head of Sales. Falbros is a London-based independent mortgage brokerage directly authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority which was established in 2012. The business specialises in independent mortgage advice for the more complex borrower like high net-worth individuals as well as foreign nationals and expats.

After an exhaustive yet ultimately supremely rewarding process, a delighted Ryan said: "It's been a busy two years but that has been a period that has given me great pride in the project and renewed enthusiasm for the business and the market. It's such an exciting time and the team here are bursting with energy and ready, willing and able to deliver what will be unparalleled service.

"The refinements we have made mean we will no longer provide bridging advice ‘in-house’ – instead we will be using a Robo Advisor to distil initial information to clients before directing them to select partners and lenders.

"This facilitates the process which will see us working on creating engaging content with lenders as we embrace videos, email marketing, web applications and SEO.

"Our content is crucial to the business and this will include the very best in PR, case studies, guides and news as well as advertising, of course."

Ryan explains that there are many aspects to the business that make it one which embraces technologies used and applied in the financial services sector. He added:

"There are a multitude of facets to the business that we believe truly make us 'fintech' and our work and research leading up to this launch has convinced us that we will continue to make huge strides.

"We have Robo Advice using Watson Chat Bot as well as open banking, government ID and soft search (credit check) – and this enables us to provide brokers and lender partners with a realistic holistic view of the customer profile, all packaged very neatly.

"Then there is the opportunity for creation of a secure ‘back-end’ system where lenders can ‘one-click’ accept or reject a bridging loan enquiry.

"Client case tracking, introducer management and CRM accessible via API will help us leverage our technology to offer an affordable solution to brokers and lenders who do not have the technical knowledge or finances to develop their own systems.

"And there will be plugins, iframes for intermediaries to embed calculators & smart search directly on their websites. Smart search will be a game changer – allowing the general public to filter bridging finance products within just nine clicks! It’s all very exciting!"

Alex adds that he is thrilled to be able to help deliver Bridging.com to

"provide a transparent platform for consumers and intermediaries to connect directly with lenders – saving time and saving money”. He added: "Having worked in a regulated environment I see the importance and opportunity of porting those core principles into this dynamic growing sector.

“Smart search will be powered by 27Tec coupled with a proprietary level of machine learning logic developed by bridging.com which will be built on top - giving access to products which as yet have not been readily available directly to the general public. When combined with credit searching, open banking and government ID you have something truly unique.”
